Turkish Miniature Art, which lost its importance with the values of Western painting, has remained in the background and has become one of our traditional handicrafts that has sunk into oblivion. The question of how much we protect Turkish Miniature Art, which is one of our national artistic values, especially in the Visual Arts education, or how well we explain it to future generations, has been the starting point of this study. In this regard, the Visual Arts Education Program of the Ministry of Education has been handled and the related achievements have been examined. In the study, some sections about the historical adventure of miniature art are also included. At the same time, attention has been paid to its place and importance in the secondary school painting job curriculum. The secondary school level of the curriculum has been determined, and it is also limited to the learning area of cultural heritage. For this purpose, related sources were scanned and transferred in a certain order. The study was created with qualitative research method and document analysis technique.
